My family had to say goodbye to one of our beloved furry friends yesterday. His name was Beethoven. He was a gentle, playful, protective giant to my children.
Goodbye my dear friend. You were so loving and protective to us all. I loved the way you played catch with the boys and "horsie" with my little girls. Even though the girls would climb on you and tug on your ears, you would always lower yourself to them and lick their little faces. I loved to watch you run. You were so strong and graceful, loyal and proud. I know that you would have given your life to protect any one of us. I am sorry that we could not protect you. You will always be in our hearts, dear friend.
Beethoven look for my good K-9 friend Rocky up there in heaven! He would be happy to have such a wonderful new friend to run around with. He can jump really high too and one time jumped down 2 flights of stairs and kept going! We would get in trouble with his handler because we would wrestle during briefing and I let him jump all over me while he was on the job. He was my best doggy friend ever! I hope you will meet him now too.
