A window valance! I know, it's not even on the rod straight, but isn't it great! My first creation by sewing machine :)

I'm trying to get back to business

But someone is distracting me!

Good Bye My Dear Friend

My family had to say goodbye to one of our beloved furry friends yesterday. His name was Beethoven. He was a gentle, playful, protective giant to my children.



Goodbye my dear friend. You were so loving and protective to us all. I loved the way you played catch with the boys and "horsie" with my little girls. Even though the girls would climb on you and tug on your ears, you would always lower yourself to them and lick their little faces. I loved to watch you run. You were so strong and graceful, loyal and proud. I know that you would have given your life to protect any one of us. I am sorry that we could not protect you. You will always be in our hearts, dear friend.
